X-611 Water Treatment Plant

Facility Information

The X-611 Water Treatment Plant consists of two concrete-block houses, a series of mixing and settling basins, and the necessary chemical storage bins. The main building, which houses the lime slackers, ferric sulfate feeders, activated carbon feeders, a chlorinator, and the office and laboratory areas, is 81 ft long, 49 ft wide, and 30 ft high. The filter house, which houses the sanitary water filtration and pumping facilities, is 61 ft long, 59 ft wide, and 40 ft high.
